The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala is my favorite fashion event of the year. Considered by many of us in the fashion industry as the Fashion Olympics, the world's most fashionable men and women descend on New York City every year for this one amazing night. This year the gala was celebrating the work of Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada.
While a great many stars brought their A-game last night, a few select women really brought the house down. It's always a pleasure to see modern fashionistas rocking the Ladylike Chic look.
